Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how VoteAmerica collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our websites, tools, and services as a user between the ages of 13 and 17.

This Policy applies to:

VoteAmerica (including VoteAmerica Action Fund, VoteAmerica PAC, and VoteAmerica LLC) is committed to protecting your privacy.

  • Our Services are available to individuals 13 and older.
  • Children under 13 may not use our Services.
  • If you are between 13–17, you can use FutureVoter and other youth-focused tools.
  • We collect only the information necessary to help you pre-register or register to vote.
  • We do not sell, share, or use your information for advertising.
  • You and/or your parent/guardian may request deletion of your information at any time.

1. Eligibility

  • Our Services are not intended for children under 13 or people who are not US citizens.
  • Users ages 13–17 may use our Services only to the extent permitted by law.
  • We encourage parents and guardians to be involved in their teenager’s use of our Services.

2. Information we collect

If you are between 13–17 and use our FutureVoter pre-registration or related tools, we may collect:

  • Name, address, phone number, and email address
  • Date of birth
  • Other information required by election officials for pre-registration or registration

We only collect the information necessary to provide these Services.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Help you pre-register or register to vote
  • Send you reminders about election deadlines, voter eligibility, or registration status
  • Provide support if you contact us

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

4. Information sharing

We do not share the personal information of users under 18 with partner organizations, customers, or other third parties.

Your information may only be shared with:

  • Our employees or service providers who operate the Service, under strict confidentiality

5. Your rights

If you are under 18, or the parent/guardian of a user under 18, you may:

  • Request access to personal information we hold
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to election recordkeeping laws

6. Protecting your information

We take your privacy seriously. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect your information. VoteAmerica maintains SOC 2 and HIPAA certifications.
