About FutureVoter

FutureVoter is a first-of-its-kind initiative from industry leading nonpartisan nonprofit VoteAmerica. Designed to build lifelong voters, FutureVoter engages high school–aged citizens (15–17) before they reach voting age. The program helps students pre-register to vote and keeps them engaged through graduation and their first elections when voting habits are most likely to form.

Once pre-registered, students receive civic education and automated election reminders. The goal is simple but powerful: ensure young people are informed, registered, and ready to vote the moment they’re eligible.

Research shows that the earlier someone votes, the more likely they are to become a habitual voter. FutureVoter is built to close the youth turnout gap and help create a stronger, more representative democracy starting today.
